The Technology Group, LLC is a full-service technology consulting firm specializing in systems support, IT security, accounting & fundraising systems for nonprofits, and business technology consulting.
The Technology Group has three functional service divisions:
Network support & Consulting
We are a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner, DELL Computer Corporation Licensed Reseller, and a Cisco Partner. The blending of practical technology acumen with security and compliance auditing experience gives us the edge in providing secure networking, information security audits, and responsive technology support services. This division is made up of engineers with many years of experience supporting and implementing technology.
Accounting & Fundraising System Consulting
The professionals in this division have significant experience with nonprofit organizations and understand financial business processes and the issues and logistics unique to nonprofits. Consulting staff includes accounting and fundraising software experts and nonprofit business experts, Certified Public Accountants and MBAs; all with many years of experience. We are Certified Abila MIP Fund Accounting™ and Fundraising 50™ Business Partners, as well as Certified QuickBooks Professional Advisors. We also have over 20 years of experience with Blackbaud’s The Financial Edge® and The Raiser’s Edge®.
IT Security & Assurance Services
The professionals in this division are experts in security, compliance, internal controls, and security auditing. Our staff includes security specialists, Certified Information Systems Auditors, Certified Fraud Examiners, and Certified Risk Assessment consultants. Typical projects include SOC 1 & 2 audits, Network Vulnerability Assessments (NVAs), HIPAA security audits, and outsourced Chief Security Officer (CSO) services. Consultants in this division hold CISSP, CRISC, CISA, and other industry certifications.
